There are so many amazing events happening in the city and it can be hard to keep up with it all. “7 In The 6ix” is your go to spot to find out what Toronto Hip Hop events are going down.

From the music, whether it’s emcees, producers and DJs, art in the form of graffiti and other aspects, and dance, all elements of the Hip Hop culture are fully represented in this vibrant city. Local Toronto professional hip hop and graffiti artist GeneONE will show you how to record music, mix and produce music and make a demo tape. If you are a hip hop enthusiast this is your chance to get exclusive industry tips and tricks from one of our very own local Toronto artists. This program will also introduce you to the Richview Digital Innovation Hub Recording Studio where you can record and mix your music in the library for FREE.

Top 64 Producers from around the world will descend on Toronto to battle for a chance at winning $10,000 in Cash & Prizes. 

Day 1 of the Preliminaries take place on Thursday, August 29th (32 Producers will battle tournament style). 

Day 2 of the Preliminaries take place on Friday, August 30th (32 Producers will battle tournament style). 

Day 3 is the Main Event, which will consist of a battle with the Top 32 Producers (top 16 producers from each Preliminary battle).
