Action Bronson is back with 2 new tracks “Golden Eye” and “Latin Grammys”. “Latin Grammys” was released earlier and has a cool accompanying video. The two tracks have Action’s signature lyrical play, with 2 different cultural influences that set them apart.
“Golden Eye” is a reggae infused track. The Queens native uses multiple sets of rhymes with vivid imagery to create a musical collage of different settings and situations. If you know Bronson, this is how he rolls.
“Latin Grammys” has a strong Latin presence with some 1970’s funky overtones. The horns bring in a chorus of sound that fill the track. He gets boastful, flexing his skills with the ladies.
Both tracks share an interesting ending with sea sounds of dolphins. It’s an artistic pivot that I am not mad about. Just another curve ball from the man from Flushings.
