Toronto based, but internationally travelled rapper Borelson released his debut album “As Far As Eye Can See”. The multi-talented artist created a body of work that is well rounded, touching on multiple genres and sounds for inspiration.
You can instantly feel that this work of art was not simply thrown together in mixtape fashion. Right from the jump, the intro is an indigenous land acknowledgement for the lands that the city of Toronto reside. It’s a thoughtful collection of various musical expressions, that parallel his unique life and worldly experiences.
The project is 11 tracks in length featuring musical influences from spoken word poetry, afrofusion, acrobeats, Latin and R and B, just to name a few. Borelson is agile enough to adapt his flow and style to each sound and make it seem effortless.
This is an eclectic album that captures the essence of his residence, Toronto.
