Bass master Brady Watt is never far away from his bass guitar, collaborating with some of Hip Hop’s best. He worked with Bishop Nehru on their joint project “The Real Book, Vol 1”. This time around, Watt connects with Pharoahe Monch and Caye on the track “Monte Carlo”.
The track was created organically with the Brady and Caye working on the track after a party at Brady’s house. The great Pharoahe was enlisted to add a verse later on.
Caye’s soulful vocals take over the first part of the track with Pharoahe adding some sharp shooting bars to complete the track. There is a cohesive duality of RnB and Hip Hop, with Brady’s hypnotic bass grooves connecting both worlds.
