Joyner Lucas is no stranger to jumping on a hot track and making it his own. No track is safe from this emcee’s lyrical assaults. This time around, the wordsmith takes on Jack Harlow’s chart bursting track “What’s Poppin”. Harlow has his own remix with Lil Wayne, Tory Lanez and Dababy, but Jonyer is coming for both tracks with his own fire.
He leaves no bar wasted, displaying powerful wordplay and tongue twisting rhymes. It sounds like Joyner is making a case for leaving him off of Harlow’s remix. This gives fans a taste of what it would have sounded like if he contributed to it.
Joyner is capable of hopping on any track and making it sound better. He has the unique skill set to impress those who focus on lyrical skill and adapts to the current wave and can run with that side of the culture.
What did you think of the track? Is it better than Harlow’s original or remix?
