Hard Knock TV’s Nick Huff Barili flew to Japan to sit in on one of Logic’s recording sessions for his recent album “Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind”. You will notice that the track sounds different from what is on the album. That is because they were not able to clear the sample that was used.
Logic works hard on his delivery. It’s not as easy as it seems. He does multiple takes in order to get the perfect verse. The engineer needs to be in sync with Logic as they work together, playing back the track to specific parts for Logic to redo his potent lines.
Logic really lights up when they play back that track. You can tell that he is satisfied with his meticulous efforts.
This video was created in an innovative way. There is no narration or additional context added, so it feels like you are there in the room as the magic is happening. It’s a really cool look at the creative process from this lyrical giant.
